About the North Fort Hood Recreation Center

The North Fort Hood Recreation Center serves as a year-round morale, welfare, and recreation hub for soldiers training at North Fort Hood. Operated by the City of Gatesville Parks & Recreation Department, the center provides a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment where troops can relax, recharge, and stay connected with loved ones while away from home.

Our mission is to support soldiers by offering free, high-quality amenities, entertainment, and programming throughout their training rotation.
