1. Introduction

The City of Gatesville is seeking quotations from qualified contractors or service providers for the provision of demolition, junk removal, and lawn mowing services at various properties within the City of Gatesville.

This RFP outlines the scope of work, proposal requirements, and selection criteria. Interested parties are invited to submit proposals by the due date specified above.

2. Scope of Work

The selected contractor(s) will be responsible for performing the following services:

A. Demolition Services

  • Demolition of small structures such as sheds, garages, or residential/commercial structures.
  • Disposal of all demolition debris in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Site grading and clearing after demolition.

B. Junk Removal

  • Removal of unwanted items, trash, debris, and non-hazardous waste from specified locations.
  • Proper transportation and disposal or recycling of removed items.
  • Sweeping/cleanup of the site post-removal.

C. Lawn Mowing & Grounds Maintenance

  • Mowing of lawns and open areas on an as-needed or scheduled basis.
  • Trimming around fences, trees, and obstacles.
  • Removal of weeds and overgrowth.
  • Bagging and disposal of clippings, if required.

3. Proposal Requirements

Please include the following in your response:

  • Company profile, including relevant experience and qualifications.
  • List of services offered with detailed pricing (hourly rates or flat fees as applicable).
  • Proof of licensing, insurance, and any necessary certifications.
  • Description of equipment to be used.
  • Estimated response times for requests.
  • References from at least 2 previous clients.
  • Optional: Photographs or examples of similar completed work.

5. Terms & Conditions

  • The City of Gatesvillle reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
  • Work may be awarded in whole or in part depending on the bids received.
  • This RFP does not constitute a contract; a formal agreement will be executed with the selected contractor(s).
