The City of Gatesville Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and the sense of community to the residents of Gatesville through the delivery of safe, healthy, diverse, accessible, quality, year-round leisure-time experiences, in addition to preserving and improving its parks and resources.

Raby Park

Street Location: 400 South 8th Street

Memorial/Commemoration: Named for Dr. J.R. Raby, local physician.

Date Established: 1910

Recreational Facilities: Playground equipment, basketball court, skate park, Teqball table, two pickleball courts, walking trails, picnic tables, a seasonal splash pad, a municipal swimming pool, and an 18 hole disc golf course.

Faunt Le Roy Park

Faunt Le Roy park features playground equipment, horseshoes, a volleyball court, picnic tables, BBQ grills, and restrooms. It is free and open to the public for day use from daylight to 11pm.

The pavilions and picnic tables may also be reserved for private groups.(Currently Unavailable)

The park also features RV spots with full hook ups - water and electricity (30 and 50 amp) and sewer. (Currently Unavailable)

Gatesville Disc Golf Course

18 hole disc golf course located throughout Raby Park and Faunt Le Roy Park.
